About the World Tea Federation

In 1999, during the China International Tea Expo and Trade Fair, the China International Tea Culture Research Association, the Korean Tea People's Association, the Japan Chinese Tea Association, the Taiwan Chinese Tea Association, the Hong Kong Tea Ceremony Association, the International Association for Scientific and Cultural Research on Tea Industry (New York) and other tea people's groups to jointly initiated the organization of the first "International Tea Competition".
