Taitung Tea Plantation

Good mountains and good water are the native conditions for excellent crops, and even more so, they are the precious land that nature has left to mankind! Therefore, Taitung is not only the home of the largest number of medicinal herbs in Taiwan, but also the place where Champion Rice is cultivated, making Taitung's reputation for its crops famous throughout the world!
In the 1950s, Taitung Luye Tea District, because of the central and local government's strong guidance, mainly to produce large-leaf Assam black tea, during the 1960s, because of the international surplus of black tea, tea farmers have switched to fermented tea to cope with the predicament, and through the efforts of the tea farmers, the 71st year of the R.O.C. by the then governor, Mr. Lee Teng Huei, amazed at the tea Luye District, named "Fu Lu Tea", and since then, the foundation of the good tea was laid! The foundation of good tea has been laid since then!
However, this Taitung, with its beautiful mountains and good water, has created a champion tea in the future, because no one believed that the low altitude of Taitung Luye could also produce excellent tea comparable to that of the high mountain areas. Taitung Luye not only has a large temperature difference between day and night, high relative humidity, and pollution-free prerequisites for growing tea, but also has a man-made victory over heaven, which has allowed Taiwan's good tea map to expand to the eastern part of Taiwan!

The characteristics of Taitung's Fulu Tea Plantation are most famous for its "Late Winter" and "Early Spring". "Late Winter Tea", as its name suggests, is harvested about a month later than high mountain tea, while the origin of Luno's "Early Spring Tea" is that at the time of the alternation between spring and winter, the warm sun in the early morning and the cold fog that does not go away give the tea trees the feeling that "the God of Spring has come", and they mistakenly think that spring has already arrived, and they begin to sprout buds in anticipation of the start of the New Year. The farmers gave this time of year tea a romantic name, "I wonder what spring is", I wonder what spring has the sweetness of spring and retains the aroma of winter, this unique flavor, so I wonder what spring has become a feature of the deer wild tea. After years of hard work and the introduction of a quality management system for the tea plantation, the quality, aroma, and taste of the Fulluck Tea has now given Taitung the name of the hometown of good tea!
